This is a practice pad exercises that utilizes Flam Accents and Swiss Army Triplets. Because of the arrangement the pattern will lead with the alternate hand on the turn-around, that way you'll be practicing the Swiss army triplets with the Flams on both the left and the right. Here's the pattern -
Here's a little Samba Groove exercise to help you with your coordination. I'll lay out the first measure of each pattern, you should play each one over one to eight measures. All exercises are R/L on snare. Technically the first two are a 3/4 time and 3 and 4 are a 5/4 time, play them in a 4/4 feel to get the polyrhythmic movement!
